Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our global team of experts within a large and well-established international consultancy, giving you the chance to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing structural designs for buildings, including inspections, assessments, and reporting
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects
  • Managing projects and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participating in projects from conception through to final design and construction surveillance
  • Ongoing career development opportunities in a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture

Requirements:

  • A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment
  • Experience utilizing a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers
