We are seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga. This is a prime opportunity for you to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management and client relationships within a large international consultancy.
Key Responsibilities- Designing the structural framework of buildings, including inspections, assessments and reporting.
- Collaborating with architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams to deliver iconic projects.
- Managing projects and leading teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Working on projects from conception through to final design and construction surveillance.
For this role we are looking for:
- A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
- 3- 6 years' experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
- Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
- Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
- The ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
