Empower individuals to make informed life choices, promoting independence and self-advocacy.

Approach risk positively to achieve quality-of-life outcomes, ensuring safeguards protect the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability (or equivalent).
  • Be eligible for Developmental Educators Australia Inc (DEAI) membership upon applying/prior to interviewing.
  • May be required to submit a suitability assessment and obtain Behaviour Support Practitioner status by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Evidence of letter required).
  • Display passion for removing barriers using the social model of therapy.
  • Exhibit empathy, understanding, and an open, non-judgmental attitude.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high-impact outcomes in individuals' lives.
  • Obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children's Check.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
