Family Case Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide case management services to statutory kinship care arrangements. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the long-term stability, security, safety and development needs of children and young people are addressed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, young people and families through an attachment and trauma-based lens. A diploma in psychology, social work, youth work or relevant field is required, with intermediate experience in the sector. A bachelor qualification is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide case management services to ensure the long-term stability, security, safety and development needs are addressed.
- Enhance and build on available formal and informal family and community supports for children and young people living in kinship placements.
- Assist families to provide the best possible care arrangement for children/young people who are unable to safely live with their birth parents.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their kinship families.
A minimum of 2 years experience in case management or a related field is preferred.
Candidates must hold a current Working with Children Check and National and International Police check if required and Workers Carer Exclusion Scheme clearance if applicable.
