Job Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused team member to join our dynamic recycling operations. As a casual depot assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with sorting recyclable products and providing accurate refunds.
  • Sort recyclable items into their correct categories and transport them to designated storage areas.
  • Evaluate staff adherence to health and safety procedures and report any hazards or risks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar industry.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong 'can-do' attitude.
  • Hold a current forklift ticket (not essential).
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift 20kg+ safely.
  • Able to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
