Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

About the Role
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our customers
  • Sort recyclable items into their correct categories
  • Transport items to the relevant storage area using forklift or manual handling
  • Ensure customers are welcomed and assisted with their recycling products
  • Cash handling
  • Monitor staff adherence to health and safety procedures and highlight any hazards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
  • Forklift Ticket holder preferred but not essential
