Quality Assurance Specialist

Ensuring apparel quality is a multifaceted task that involves close collaboration with offshore factories, thorough understanding of quality standards and pattern making expertise, as well as knowledge of production processes and guidelines.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in solving fit and QC/QA issues, foreseeing potential problems, and implementing corrective actions. Your responsibilities will include grading specs, measuring garments, sending clear fit comments to factories, preparing garments to specifications, attending fit sessions with buyers, coordinating fit sessions, and working closely with the production team.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication abilities, high attention to detail, great time management skills, and a positive attitude. A minimum 3-4 years of QA experience is required for this challenging yet rewarding opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with offshore factories to ensure consistent communication and fit comments.
  • Understand quality standards and pattern making expertise.
  • Knowledge of production processes and guidelines.
  • Solve fit and QC/QA issues, and foresee these issues.
  • Grade specs, measure garments, and send clear fit comments to factories.
  • Prepare garments to specifications.
  • Attend fit sessions with buyers.
  • Coordinate fit sessions with buyers.
  • Work closely with the production team to implement all steps.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of QA experience.
  • Advanced understanding of critical path elements.
  • Advanced level across Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
