Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

As a senior business intelligence (BI) analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making across the university. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement data models and BI solutions that provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data models and BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau.
  • Support student number intake and population modelling initiatives.
  • Design and develop dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and reporting demos to ensure effective communication of data insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud.
  • Ensure that all BI and DWH technologies are aligned with governance standards and fit for purpose.
Requirements:
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau (preferably Tableau Cloud).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to communicate complex data insights to senior decision-makers.
  • Experience in managing the full BI/DWH service lifecycle, from planning to delivery.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to change.
