Job Profile
This is a diverse role where you'll work to shape the state of data across the business.
You will have hands-on experience in a growing team of curious learners and contribute to the growth of Nova Entertainment through various projects.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues to understand data sources, improve data capture, access speed, and data quality.
Partner with engineers to transform analytical ideas into automated processes and robust datasets for dashboards and reports.
Analyse data from various touchpoints to drive product insights and optimise advertising outcomes.
Communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Tasks
Perform data analysis to support business performance tracking, including regular and ad-hoc reporting.
Work with diverse data sources and platforms, integrating them where needed and identifying improvement opportunities.
Use strong technical skills to query, clean, and transform data into meaningful datasets.
Apply analytical thinking to interpret trends and patterns, using statistical techniques where relevant.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations and compelling data stories.
Requirements
Degree in science, engineering, IT, mathematics, statistics or another quantitative discipline.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools; quick to learn new tools if needed.
Hands-on data experience from internships, projects or roles involving data processing, cleaning and basic analysis.
Success Indicators
Relentless curiosity, comfort with challenging problems, and a hands-on approach to data delivery are essential for this position.
