Job Description

The role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist is pivotal in the Stomal Therapy team, providing expert guidance and education to stoma patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement education programs for stoma patients and carers
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Post-registration qualifications in Stoma Therapy
  • At least 3 years full-time equivalent experience working in Gastrointestinal Surgery and/or Stoma Therapy
  • Commitment to champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
