Job Title: Respiratory Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to providing high-quality patient care.

As a respiratory nurse, you will work closely with advanced clinical trainees to assess patients with acute respiratory conditions, review their medical history and treatment plans, and communicate complex information effectively. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in managing respiratory care and procedures such as draining PleurX Catheters.

Key qualifications include current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA and demonstrated experience in Acute Care Nursing, preferably in respiratory care. You will also need effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to prioritise and organise your workload efficiently.

The selected candidate will make a real impact by assisting to reduce unnecessary Emergency Department presentations and facilitating smooth discharges for appropriate patients. They will also have the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in various specialties.
