Medicinal Cannabis Telehealth Career

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care through assessment and treatment with medicinal cannabis.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via telehealth, including full clinical histories, medication reviews, and eligibility for medicinal cannabis.
- Diagnose, prescribe, and manage patient care within scope of practice and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medicinal cannabis under the Special Access Scheme (Category B), as per TGA and state legislation.
- Provide follow-up care, treatment monitoring, and patient education to ensure safe and effective use of prescribed therapies.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn regulatory pathways for prescribing medicinal cannabis (SAS-B, Authorised Prescriber).
- Excellent telehealth communication skills and ability to engage with patients remotely.
