Medicinal Cannabis Specialist
This is a fascinating opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Medicinal Cannabis Specialist in our clinic.
We are seeking a Medical Practitioner with experience in assessing and managing patients with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions, who can prescribe medicinal cannabis products in accordance with best clinical practice and relevant regulations.
Conduct face-to-face patient assessments and/or telehealth consultations
Prescribe medicinal cannabis products, undertaking structured patient follow-up consultations and providing ongoing care
Liaise with other healthcare practitioners for holistic care coordination
Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality, upholding good clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well within a team.
Key Requirements:
General registration as a Medical Practitioner
Experience in assessing and managing patients with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions
Ability to prescribe medicinal cannabis products
Strong communication and teamwork skills
