Job Opportunity: Quality and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Compliance Specialist to join our team in delivering exceptional quality of care to our residents and their families.

This role is responsible for conducting regular internal audits to assess the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, you will provide analysis on care and service performance, investigate incidents, and maintain registers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess the quality of care provided and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide analysis on care and service performance to inform decision-making.
  • Investigate incidents and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

Requirements:

  • Current Nurse Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • In-depth understanding of aged care principles and experience working with ACQSC standards.
  • Experience in developing educational content and delivering clinical education.
  • Proven track record in managing quality and compliance programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to plan and deliver impactful communications.
