Airborne Sensor Operator

We are seeking a skilled Airborne Sensor Operator to join our team in Australia. As an Airborne Sensor Operator, you will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing spatial data from airborne LiDAR and imagery systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate airborne LiDAR and camera systems to acquire high-quality spatial data.
- Coordinate flying missions with survey pilots or aircraft providers.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of planned airborne sorties.
- Quality control of acquired data.
- Carry out flight planning duties for New Zealand operations.
- Technical qualifications in LiDAR and camera systems, spatial science, or photography.
- Comfortable operating in unpressurized light aircraft at various altitudes for extended periods.
- Operating knowledge of aerial survey sensors and flight planning software.
- Understanding of meteorology.
- Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on MS-based software.
- Red Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience desired.
