Technical Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technical expert in RabbitMQ to lead the design and architecture of high availability systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Architecture: Lead the development of RabbitMQ-based messaging systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • System Review: Conduct thorough reviews of existing RabbitMQ implementations and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • High Availability Solutions: Implement and maintain high availability solutions, including clustering, replicated queues, and failover mechanisms.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize RabbitMQ performance by tuning configurations, managing resources, and implementing best practices.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system health and quickly resolve any issues.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of RabbitMQ systems.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on RabbitMQ best practices and high availability strategies.
  • Requirements and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on RabbitMQ and high availability systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of RabbitMQ, including clustering, mirrored queues, and quorum queues.
    • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
    • Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security principles.
