Chief Executive Officer

Overview of the Role

The Chief Executive will work seamlessly across two charities, driving strategic growth and development. They will lead a team of professionals and oversee a property portfolio.

Sectors of Focus

  • Agriculture and Food Production
  • Land Husbandry and Sustainability

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing strategies for both charities in conjunction with the Trustees
  • Implementing sustainable income generation programmes
  • Running both charities effectively and leading their combined professional staff of c.14
  • Developing and expanding the Charities' reputation and influence in the wider Agri-food sector

Requirements

  • Science educational background to degree standard
  • Experience of managing a commercial enterprise or similar organisation
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for agriculture, food production, land husbandry
  • Experience of fundraising and engagement with supporters and donors including members, donors and state bodies
