Job Title: Senior Lawyer, Property Construction
">About the Role:
">- This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of property law.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide high-quality legal advice on property, construction, development, and finance matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documentation.
- Support the delivery of social and affordable housing projects by managing legal risks, compliance obligations, and governance requirements.
- Engage and oversee external legal advisors.
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks and conflicts of interest.
- Prepare and contribute to Board and Committee papers.
- Partner with internal teams on property transactions, acquisitions, disposals, procurement processes, and financing activities.
Requirements for Success:
">- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with current Australian practising certificate.
- Extensive experience in property, construction, development, and finance law.
- Training and experience gained in a mid to top-tier law firm or in a large in-house legal team.
- Advanced drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Proven ability to engage and manage external legal advisors.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capability.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
