About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Transport Services team as a Transportation Coordinator. This is a full-time, ongoing position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular days in the office.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of vehicles on behalf of customers and vendors. Your primary duties will include:

  • Liaising with transport vendors and suppliers to coordinate and verify transportation of vehicles within agreed timeframes
  • Liaising with customers to confirm transportation order details
  • Data entry of transportation orders, including updates using our in-house software
  • General administrative duties associated with the transportation process
  • Using various in-house transportation management systems to manage and track transportation orders and provide updates to customers or vendors
  • Some administrative tasks updating our finance system for invoicing purposes
  • Answering customer and vendor inquiries politely, promptly, and accurately, including providing transportation quotes and updates on transportation status when requested
  • Liaising effectively with relevant employees at our branches regarding vehicle locations and transportation requests
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a similar administrative role, along with experience in a hybrid work environment
  • A positive, professional, and engaging phone manner, with previous customer service experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including high attention to detail
  • Competent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Efficient, organized, and able to prioritize competing deadlines
