The role of a supervisory position involves coordinating major works, ensuring the safety of team members and managing administrative functions.

  • This includes planning, resourcing and communication with key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assisting in the preparation of work scopes, costing, scheduling and project planning to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Supervising the accuracy and timeliness of time sheets and sub-contract documentation to enable efficient job costing.
  • Identifying continuous improvements within your area of responsibility to drive productivity and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or technical role, preferably with mining equipment in the mining industry.
  • Relevant trade or post-trade qualifications and related product training.
  • Intermediate PC skills and ability to analyze technical data and reports.
  • Good communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A strong ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments and workloads.
