Director of Science Education

The role of the Head of Learning Area – Science involves strategic leadership and management to ensure the effective operation of the designated Science Learning Area.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Science curriculum for Years 7–12, grounded in a Reformed worldview.
- Oversee the design and implementation of the College's curriculum across all Science subject areas, ensuring alignment with the curriculum framework and the College's mission.
- Design and deliver a consistent and coherent set of learning experiences that promote skill development, integration across disciplines and the use of diverse teaching and learning strategies.
- Support teachers through professional development, performance management and curriculum planning.
As part of the Secondary leadership team, the successful applicant will contribute to College-wide initiatives, participate in Curriculum Team meetings and lead Learning Area contributions to strategic and operational plans. The role also involves fostering a positive, collaborative Christian culture within the team.
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to their faith and a passion for supporting and encouraging others in their spiritual walks.
