About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team in Mackay. As a Residential Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of services to young people, including assistance with daily life, personal care, and social participation.
  • Work collaboratively with young people to identify and achieve their goals, and provide support to help them navigate challenges.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and stable living environment, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate 4 in a recognised area, with a willingness to work towards or enrol in further qualifications.
  • Current drivers license and ability to work a range of shifts, including sleepovers and weekends.
  • Police clearance, Blue Card, and NDIS Workers Screening Check/Yellow Card.
  • Completed Hope and Healing Framework Foundation Training, and current First Aid certification.
