The IFYS Child Protection Residential Care Programs support children and young people needing a safe, dependable, and nurturing living environment.
As a Residential Youth Worker, you will deliver the day-to-day care to young people in the Residential Care house, supporting them to manage challenging behaviors and promoting life-skills development.
You will work closely with the Case Manager to ensure the young people receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Support young people to manage challenging behaviors
- Plan and attend activities to promote life-skills development
- Complete case notes and admin tasks daily
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Casual employment

You will be flexible, adaptable, and open to learning as no two days are the same. You will need to build rapport quickly and remain non-judgmental when working with young people displaying highly complex and challenging behaviors.
You will be comfortable with computers and completing admin tasks required for the role.
Candidates with transferrable skills from working with vulnerable people who display challenging behaviors are strongly encouraged to apply.
