Front End Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of sophisticated front-end components using well-known React.js workflows. The ideal candidate will be proficient in React.js, passionate about integrating AI capabilities into user interfaces, and experienced in building complex web applications.

The primary focus of this role is on developing cutting-edge front-end solutions that drive AI adoption throughout the development process. You will work closely with the Front End Lead, serving as a key technical partner in executing our front-end strategy.

• Taking ownership of our design system, working closely with designers to ensure consistency, evolution, and adoption across all teams
• Supporting front-end research and technical design for projects, providing front-end solutions to multiple other feature teams
• Leading knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives across teams to improve front-end capabilities company-wide
• Mentoring developers across multiple teams and driving front-end best practices throughout the organisation
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure alignment between front-end development and broader company goals
• Acquiring excellent product knowledge, understanding the features we've built, and developing solutions that leverage AI to solve complex business problems
• Developing and implementing micro frontend solutions that enable teams to work independently while maintaining cohesive user experiences
• Applying the RADIO framework (Requirements exploration, Architecture, Data modeling, Interface definition, Optimisation) when designing APIs and technical solutions
• Developing efficient, scalable, high-quality and robust code using ReactJS/TypeScript
• Ensuring web accessibility standards (WCAG) are met and maintaining responsive designs across all devices and platforms

• A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, AI innovation, and quality product is essential in this role.
• Proven experience as a senior front-end developer with expertise in complex React applications
• Strong collaboration skills with experience mentoring and sharing knowledge across teams
• Knowledge of Redux and Redux-saga
• Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS 3, JSON, etc.
• Experience in applying design patterns, writing front-end tests, and optimising performance in application-level TypeScript/JavaScript
• Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team
• Some understanding of Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical audience and clearly document developed solutions
• Experience mentoring developers and leading knowledge sharing initiatives across multiple teams
• Ability to work as a trusted technical partner to leadership while driving front-end excellence across the organisation
