Senior Front End Developer Job Description

To drive our company's front-end strategy and contribute to delivering innovative solutions, we are seeking a talented Senior Front End Developer. Your primary focus will be on developing sophisticated front-end components using well-known workflows and driving AI adoption throughout the development process.

As a key technical partner, you will work closely with the Front End Lead, collaborating with designers to ensure consistency, evolution, and adoption across all teams. You will also provide front-end solutions to multiple feature teams and support knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives across teams to improve front-end capabilities company-wide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex web applications using ReactJS/TypeScript.
  • Ensure web accessibility standards (WCAG) are met and maintain responsive designs across all devices and platforms.
  • Apply design patterns, write front-end tests, and optimise performance in application-level TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment between front-end development and broader company goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, AI innovation, and quality product is important in this role.
  • Proven experience as a senior front-end developer with expertise in complex React applications.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience mentoring and sharing knowledge across teams.
  • Knowledge of Redux and Redux-saga.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS 3, JSON, etc.
