Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Piping Designer to lead pipeline engineering projects in the heart of Darwin. As a Principal Piping Designer, you will be responsible for managing project scopes, resources, and discipline technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pipeline design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead a team of piping designers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Drafting.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in piping design, with a strong background in oil and gas projects.
  • Proven track record of leading complex design projects, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Competency in E3D CAD systems and other relevant software.
