Senior Engineering Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Engineering Leader to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, this role will be responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance functions at our Melbourne site.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in equipment reliability, uptime, and cost-effective maintenance operations. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce planned and unplanned downtime, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional results.

  • This role requires strong leadership skills, with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • You will need to have a proven track record of budget management, cost control, and financial oversight, as well as experience in contract management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred) is essential for this role.
  • You must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to succeed in this position.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the engineering and maintenance functions to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Managing and overseeing the work of 3rd party maintenance providers and other site service providers.
  • Providing safety leadership across all maintenance & engineering activities at the site.
