Job Overview

About the Role

  • Provide strategic and operational guidance to Principals, Senior Executives, and Managers on a wide range of legislative, policy and procedural matters.
  • Ensure quality systems are in place to manage the reputation of the department through effective complaint management, internal and external communication, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare complex reports, submissions, briefs, and responses to correspondence from various sources for senior officials in accordance with the department's records management systems.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve capability and capacity of Principals and regional staff to ensure that schools and the regional office have quality systems for managing complaints, internal and external communications, community engagement, and interactions with government and non-government organisations.
