Job Title: Policy Officer - Strategic Development

We are seeking an experienced Policy Officer to join our team in a key role that supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives across early childhood education and care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy development, evaluation, and data analysis.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of Queensland children and families.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the development of briefings, reports, and submissions, including Cabinet submissions. You will provide timely and quality advice to senior managers and contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, systems, and processes.

You will also be required to maintain a current knowledge of developments and initiatives in early childhood education and care, particularly regulatory policy, legislation, and practice.
