We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team in Fortescue's Perth office, located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

This is a Monday to Friday roster opportunity that will challenge your skills and experience in planning, data science, engineering, and/or operational disciplines. As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering executable two-year plans that maximise business profitability by delivering the highest value products to the customer through efficient use of Fortescue's Mine, Rail and Port infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop two-year plan and supply chain metrics to support the monthly, quarterly and yearly business planning cycles
  • Analyse system capability at a site and supply chain level to provide planning insights
  • Reconcile supply chain performance to plan to identify constraints, risks and opportunities
  • Liaise with Strategic Planning teams to ensure planning horizon alignment and identify capacity opportunities for each site
  • Influence across a broad range of stakeholders, driving for optimised outcomes for the supply chain
  • Assist in the coordination and optimisation of maintenance routines within the 2-year planning horizon

About This Opportunity

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

What You Need

  • Demonstrated experience in a planning, data science, engineering and/or operational discipline (or similar)
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple layers of the organisation
  • Strong systems thinking – works well with data and complexity
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain related field (desirable)
