As a Transport and Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of complex shipping operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, administration, vendors, project teams, finance, engineering, construction, legal, and the client.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute shipping activities for assigned POs in accordance with Technip Energies Global Principles & Standards;
  • Manage transportation activities in line with the Logistic Execution Plan defined for the project;
  • Assign shipping tasks to freight forwarders and monitor their execution;
  • Contribute to the performance assessment of freight forwarders;
  • Manage invoices and verify services rendered by freight forwarders;
  • Motivate team members across different business centers and countries to engage in daily activities and improvement initiatives;
  • Provide transport cost and man-hour estimates and reports, monitoring budgets vs. project execution;
  • Develop transport and logistics management plans for projects in agreement with the Project Procurement Manager;
  • Plan and revise shipping schedules;
  • Prepare issue specifications, invitations to bid, negotiation documents, and service orders;
  • Define and assign shipments to forwarding agents from service orders;
  • Contact suppliers and coordinate pick-up operations based on loading/shipping plans for each shipment;
  • Issue or coordinate import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary;
  • Issue Shipping Notices to involved parties and send separate shipping documents to the field;
  • Participate in minor buyer activities to support OSD;
  • Interface with site materials teams for site coordination, preservation, and storage of materials.
About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or Business & Administration, or equivalent work experience;
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience working within complex shipping schemes management and coordination;
  • Previous lead or coordinator experience is advantageous;
  • Knowledge of IT tools or web inquiry management IT tool is highly regarded;
  • Experience working on oil and gas/energy projects;
  • A strong understanding of module movement and multimodal transport;
  • The ability to engage with freight forwarders and negotiate agreements;
  • An in-depth knowledge of customs, regulations, and procedures;
  • Proficient stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to adapt and coordinate across international locations.
