About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our Water Resources Team, you will be responsible for delivering flood risk management, flood modelling, and hydrology/hydraulic assessment support to our clients.

With a strong focus on technical excellence, you will work on a variety of projects, leading and delivering high-quality outputs while collaborating with a large number of professionals in a range of geographies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver flood risk management, flood modelling, and hydrology/hydraulic assessment support to clients
  • Check and review project outputs to ensure technical excellence
  • Prepare tenders and proposals to secure new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients across multiple sectors to ensure client service satisfaction
  • Coach and mentor junior professionals to foster the growth and development of the team
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering and RPEQ/CPEng registration
  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation, and dedication to delivering high-quality results
  • Experience or interest in project management and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, and RORB
  • Good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM
