About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives.
  • Provide accurate advice on employee matters, including end-to-end complex case management and conducting workplace investigations.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent for blue-collar roles and develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate programs that support employee growth, skill development, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Facilitate performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on performance improvement plans, and ensure accountability across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and industry regulations and develop and update HR policies to reflect best practices and company values.
  • Utilise HR metrics to assess workforce trends, drive strategic initiatives, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective talent management, workforce planning, and organisational development.
