Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at G.James, Australia's leading integrated glass and aluminium manufacturer and contractor.

About the Role:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading sheets of glass products to/from A frame trucks, delivering glass products around the Melbourne area to customers in a safe and timely manner, and providing timely, accurate and pleasant customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading of glass products
  • Delivering glass products to customers in the Melbourne area
  • Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • MR or HR License (manual), truck driving experience and clean driving history
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling, loading and unloading
  • Excellent customer service skills and a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of metropolitan Melbourne area
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test)
What We Offer:
  • Permanent ongoing work Monday – Friday with 38 hours week
  • AM Shift 6am-2:20pm EBA $34.36/hour
  • + additional weekly allowance $52.99 (includes laundry allowance)
  • Day Driving only from Campbellfield base
  • Monthly paid Rostered Day Off (RDO)
  • EBA rates and entitlements including paid income protection insurance
