We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our Infrastructure Services Australia business in project lead capacity, responsible for delivering cost estimation services on key water infrastructure projects. As part of our collaborative team, you will utilize your conceptual and delivery expertise to provide critical support to our clients across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver accurate and detailed estimates from engineering data (AACE Class 5, 4, and 3) to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor junior estimators, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities between clients and stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and timelines.
  • Assist in the development of estimating and assurance frameworks, guidelines, and best practices to drive quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving existing business processes by leveraging KBR's experience and expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in conceptual and detailed estimating, preferably within the water or pipeline sectors, with AACE Class 5, 4, and 3 certification.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to guide and develop junior estimators.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
