About the Role

As a Developmental Educator at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same.

You will be working closely with participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits, while championing the role of a social model practitioner.

Problem-solving challenges that prevent participants from living fulfilled lives is a big part of this role, along with recommending the most appropriate team of supports, therapy, duration, location, and timing.

Your expertise in developmental education will drive positive change for individuals with disabilities, and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise through continuous learning and professional development.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or Masters of Disability, and be eligible for Developmental Educators Australia Inc (DEAI) membership.

They will also be passionate about removing barriers using the social model of therapy, and be driven to see high impact outcomes in people's lives.

This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) role, offering a competitive salary package, flexible working options, and opportunities for growth and development.
