Key Responsibilities:

This is a unique opportunity to partner with another accountant and report to the Financial Controller as part of a high-performing Finance Team.

  • Create and post end-of-month accruals for external costs.
  • Liaise with Procurement and Accounts Payable regarding transactional queries.
  • Oversee document controls database (M-Files) to ensure adherence to defined workflows.
  • Review and comment on Cost of Goods Sold for a range of entities.
  • Reconcile and approve external Labour Hire Invoices fortnightly.
  • Update weekly payroll and accounts payable commitments forecast for cash flow management.
  • Setup and maintain payment schedule for commercial/residential rental properties.
  • Generate external/intercompany invoices for Linkforce Group.
  • Provide ad hoc cost reporting to various stakeholders.
About You

Key qualifications include a tertiary qualification in Accountancy, CA/CPA certification or working towards it, demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a commercial accounting environment, and strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills.

  • Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a commercial accounting environment.
  • Experience using Pronto is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • High attention to detail and numeracy accuracy are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is necessary.
