We provide a robust API, SDK, and engine plugins that enable seamless mod integration, content curation, and even facilitate in-game marketplaces for paid UGC. Backed by leading investors, we foster vibrant creator communities and help studios unlock their player base's full potential.
The Opportunity
This critical leadership role will shape the evolution of our platform. You will define and execute a product vision that aligns with our CEO's vision, strategic goals, expands our market reach, and delivers exceptional value to both game developers and players. You'll lead a talented product team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision: Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our platform, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends. Work closely with our CEO to translate his vision into outcomes in our products future roadmap.
Roadmap Execution: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and research to development, launch, and post-launch iteration. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product team, including product managers, UX researchers/designers. Foster a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally in a complex product environment.
Market & User Understanding: Deeply understand the needs of game developers and the modding community. Work closely with our communications and community team to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify opportunities and pain points.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, business development, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market strategies.
Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure success, and identify areas for improvement. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance.
Innovation & Future-Proofing: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving user behaviors to identify new product opportunities and ensure our platform remains at the forefront of UGC.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including the development team, customer studios, and verified creators.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of the video game industry and UGC.
Track record of delivering services or products for game development studios.
Able to speak to challenges studios face when adopting and supporting UGC.
