Project Engineer - Mechanical and Piping

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support our site team at Boddington. The successful candidate will work on site works, supporting our projects team in the delivery of fabrication, structural, and piping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project delivery, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with the projects team to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to site teams, ensuring compliance with client specifications and work scopes.
  • Monitor and track project performance, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, specifications, and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely analysis, advice, and reports.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree with 2+ years of experience in Project Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in Steel Fabrication, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically MS Excel and MS Projects.
  • Ability to work site-based weekly, with a willingness to relocate to the Perth or Southwest area.
