Heavy Machinery Service Specialist Opportunity

Experience the thrill of working with state-of-the-art heavy machinery as a Heavy Machinery Service Specialist at our Liberty Street branch in Cairns. Our modern facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, providing an ideal environment for skilled technicians to work together towards achieving exceptional repair and maintenance results.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in equipment assembly, repair and service of key CAT machinery and components. Your technical expertise will be put to the test as you diagnose complex issues using Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET Vims, SIMSi and SIS).

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Repairing, maintaining and servicing key CAT machinery and components
  • Equipment assembly of Caterpillar equipment
  • Performing diagnostic assessments on mining, general construction, and power generation equipment

Key qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Engineering and Mechanical or similar qualifications
  • Knowledge of engine reconditioning and rebuilds
  • Demonstrated service and repair experience on heavy machinery
  • Experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems or similar experience in motor mechanics and agriculture/sugar farming
