As a Fire Protection Engineer at HDR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and their occupants. You will be responsible for supporting project leaders and directors across various projects and disciplines, with a focus on fire protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project leaders and directors in developing and implementing fire protection strategies
  • Coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate and effective fire protection designs
  • Document fire services design using Revit
  • Develop detailed designs, produce tender documents, and conduct site snagging and witness testing
  • Liaise with clients and design teams to maintain high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
  • Assist Group Leader in identifying and implementing personal training and CPD requirements
  • Implement and manage quality assurance systems and procedures on all projects
  • Work closely with senior engineers and technical professionals to provide direction and guidance throughout the project duration

Requirements

  • 2+ years' relevant industry experience
  • FPAS Accreditation or ability to obtain
  • Mission Critical Design/Data Centre Design experience highly advantageous

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
