About Our Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced team member to join our animal rehoming centre in Glendenning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the transition of all animals into and out of our facility, managing associated paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining high standards of animal housing presentation and animal welfare within the centre
  • Facilitating the transition of animals into and out of our facility
  • Managing associated paperwork
  • Providing exceptional customer service

This is a casual position, with shifts scheduled primarily on weekends, and some availability required throughout the week.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in an appropriate field
  • Demonstrated customer service experience or administration experience with both telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a fast-paced and high-volume area
  • Demonstrated high level of experience in handling and working with companion animals
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Experience in PC applications
  • Current class C driver's licence
  • Solid knowledge of relevant Acts and Regulations
  • Authority to implant microchips
  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle
