We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing assigned contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and administration of assigned contracts, including reviewing scopes of work and contract conditions;
  • Procuring subcontractors, negotiating and confirming subcontract and supply agreements;
  • Effectively managing subcontracts through all phases, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion and close out;
  • Ensuring contractor's documentation, including insurance, bonds and securities are received in accordance with the contract and are safely stored;
  • Developing and maintaining sound professional relationships with key suppliers;
  • Responsible for the correct and effective post-award administration of assigned contracts, including assessing, reviewing and advising applicable package managers in respect of contractor claims for variations, progress claims and extensions;

Our ideal candidate will possess a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Law, with proven analytical and drafting skills. They will also have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and energetic, with previous experience in a similar Contract Advisor or Contract Administrator position within the engineering, resources or construction industry.
