Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Manager

Are you a highly motivated and experienced professional seeking a challenging role in the solar industry? We are looking for an exceptional Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead our team of experts and ensure optimal plant performance, stakeholder coordination, and strict compliance with safety standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of multiple solar PV assets, ensuring high inverter availability and system uptime. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including O&M Site Managers, Engineers, Electricians, and HSE Managers, to achieve peak plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Site Management: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to achieve peak plant efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Manage the day-to-day performance of multiple solar PV assets to ensure high inverter availability and system uptime.
  • SCADA Operations: Oversee SCADA operations using platforms such as SIEMENS, Schneider, GPM, and AZZO, in collaboration with the Spain-based Control Centre and industry entities.
  • HSE Leadership: Enforce rigorous safety and environmental protocols across all sites, including daily pre-starts, weekly toolbox meetings, emergency response drills, monthly audits, and ongoing site inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high-performance goals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of solar PV technology, SCADA systems, and electrical engineering principles.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex technical projects, with a focus on timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Safety and Environmental Protocols: Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, with the ability to enforce protocols and ensure compliance.
