Facility Asset Maintenance Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Facility Asset Maintenance Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop, coordinate, and implement maintenance strategies that ensure facility assets operate efficiently, reliably, and safely. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing teams, projects, and maintenance operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute preventative maintenance plans aligned with the Technical Maintenance Plan (TMP)
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure effective inter-departmental communications
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and external service providers to manage asset risk while supporting operations
  • Leverage expertise to lead Zero Harm initiatives and foster a strong safety culture
  • Maintain compliance with site procedures and permits through effective management of contractors and maintenance teams
  • Provide technical support and continuously improve maintenance processes

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in asset maintenance across infrastructure, rail, facilities, or a relevant industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams, projects, and maintenance operations
  • Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, permits, and safe work documentation (JSEA, SWMS)
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and deliver cost efficiencies
