Facilities Assistant

Dagun State School is seeking a proactive and reliable Schools Officer to contribute to a community-focused school.
This role offers variety and takes pride in work while supporting a friendly rural environment.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day activities, security duties, and support for significant events. The successful applicant will be appointed at the lower classification with eligibility for progression once specific criteria are met.
Additionally, you will ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements including maintenance of a safe work environment, safe storage and handling of chemicals, and management of equipment records.
Job Requirements:- Day-to-day activities and tasks as assigned by management.
- Security duties including maintaining a safe working environment.
- Support for significant events such as festivals, sports days, and open days.
- Eligibility for progression once specific criteria are met.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
- The opportunity to make a positive impact on the school community.
A temporary part-time position with 20 hours worked over two days per week.
