As a key player in the Cyber and Technology Practice business, this role reports to the practice leaders and is responsible for driving underwriting profit and growth. We welcome applications from diverse candidates who can deliver exceptional results in our dynamic environment.

About the Role

This position involves delivering set financial targets for allocated Broker panels, deploying capacity on New and Renewal Business, and conducting thorough risk assessments. You will also develop and execute personal Distribution plans for assigned Broker panels, including Key Account management and renewal portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve financial targets for allocated Broker panels by utilizing your expertise in underwriting and distribution.
  • Deliver set Distribution activities, including Broker Visits, Key Account Management, Prospecting, and New Business generation.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure accurate coverage recommendations.
  • Develop and execute personal Distribution plans for assigned Broker panels.
  • Participate in joint travel/presentations with the Cyber and Technology Practice Leader and Product Line Managers.
Qualifications
  • Experience underwriting Technology PI, Casualty, and Cyber classes of business in an intermediated market, including understanding relevant pricing techniques and Claim development.
  • Ability to handle a mix of mid-market volume business and large, complex accounts.
  • Makes recommendations for tailoring coverage and demonstrates knowledge of products and services.
  • Adapts to fast-paced environments with frequent changes in product and industry dynamics in a rapidly growing segment.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills and anticipates and responds to the needs of producers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people and influence decisions.
