Job Title: Accounting Support Specialist

The Accounting Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the finance team with daily tasks and responsibilities. Reporting to the financial controller, this position requires close collaboration with all functions within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the offshore team in following up on outstanding items and queries.
  • Assist with bank and travel account ledger reconciliations.
  • Process payments, including expense claims, and support with accounts payable.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement opportunities for both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure standard operating procedures are complete for all tasks.
  • Support the finance team during the transition to a new booking system.


Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role required.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive in following up on outstanding items.
  • Minimum intermediate knowledge of Excel.
