Job Summary

The Kitchenhand plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Washing and sanitizing equipment, including dishwashers and ovens.
  • Cleaning and maintaining floors using floor scrubbers and mops.
  • Stripping and washing tray-line serving trays.
  • Assisting with meal deliveries and collecting trollies and emptying meal trays from wards.
  • Maintaining records of cleaning duties completed to comply with Food Safety regulations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also require a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
