
Kitchen Operations Coordinator

At our restaurant, we take pride in serving exceptional dishes to our guests. We are seeking a Kitchen Team Member who will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hotel environment and be able to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Clean and sterilize all kitchen equipment, including countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks, and cooking utensils.
- Maintain food storage areas, such as freezers and refrigerators, in a clean and organized manner.
- Receive and organize deliveries to the kitchen in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing.
- Remove kitchen waste and wash dirty dishes in a thorough and hygienic manner.
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is beneficial.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- A physical role that requires being on your feet most of the day, so attention to safe manual handling is essential.
- A high standard of cleanliness and safety at work is expected.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including holding a Food Safety Certificate.
